H.E. Dr. Tariq Al Gurg leads Dubai Cares, a global philanthropic organization operating across 57 countries. He has become a central figure in the global education movement, particularly in the domains of education in emergencies, digital inclusion, and system reform through the UN SDGs. He is currently spearheading a Global Declaration on Digital Connectivity, reinforcing the notion that access to the internet is foundational to modern education.
Stefania Giannini brings a wealth of international and national leadership experience. As UNESCO’s Assistant Director-General for Education, she oversees the organization’s strategic direction on education policy and leads its efforts around SDG 4. Her commitment to equitable, human-centered education has become the foundation of UNESCO’s recovery and future of education programs.
