A senior strategist at the heart of the UAE’s vision for global collaboration, H.E. Najeeb Mohammed Al-Ali has been instrumental in driving the success of Expo 2020 Dubai. Previously Executive Director of the Emirates Competitiveness Council and Director of Strategy and Policy at the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, he now leads the Commissioner General’s Office for Expo 2020. His leadership has helped transform the first World Expo in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia into a global launchpad for reconnection, innovation, and post-pandemic recovery. As the world grappled with the disintegration of global systems due to COVID-19, H.E. Al-Ali helped reframe the Expo as an engine for hope, inclusion, and resilient futures.
