Alaa Adel is a seasoned leader in healthcare information technology with over two decades of experience across the Middle East and Africa. As Vice President and Managing Director at Cerner Corporation, he has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives in healthcare, including the implementation of AI-powered platforms, electronic medical records, and population health tools. During the COVID-19 crisis, Mr Adel spearheaded telehealth systems and AI triage tools to help health systems adapt rapidly. His career, including roles at GE and Fuji Medical, is defined by a commitment to advancing digital health and operational innovation through collaborative governance and cutting-edge technologies.
